Though I was not travelling for work, I did have to conduct some meetings online while I was there. When the internet was not strong enough, the hotel very kindly fixed the problem and gave me a router. I know that in the present situation everything is not perfect, but the attitude of the hotel staff and their willingness to assist me was very much appreciated. Due to the COVID situation in Hong Kong, my return flight got cancelled and I had to extend my stay. The hotel assisted me in this.

Grand old hotel Art Deco in style. Wonderful garden and pool. Our Superior room was absolutely fine. We had dinner at the hotel which for the money was very good. Great outdoor restaurant bit. Lots of reviews are critical but our experience was excellent.

The Hotel Suisse is well located on the Lake Round; the room was comfortable with all usual facilities; staff excellent service. outside areas also well maintained with good gardens for such a central city location. Pool super.

Wonderful colonial hotel that is steeped in history. We stayed during Poya, a religious featival,the hotel is used by Srilankan families as well as foreign travelers. Loved the feel of the history of the building.
